Intention for Umrah Make this intention with full sincerity. Then begin the Talbiyah to enter ihram. โ
Talbiyah Recite continuously after entering ihram, especially in transit, when meeting others, and as you change states. Men recite aloud; women recite quietly. โ
First sight of the Kaaba Recite three times. It is said that any du'a made upon first seeing the Kaaba is granted โ make your most heartfelt request now. Send salawat upon the Prophet ๏ทบ. โ
Intention for Tawaf Begin Tawaf at the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad). Stand facing it, make this intention, then start. โ
Between the Yamani Corner and the Black Stone Recite this between the Yamani Corner and the Black Stone, on every round of Tawaf. โ
At the Black Stone Recite each time you pass the Black Stone during Tawaf. Point to it with the right hand if you cannot touch it; do not push or harm others to reach it. โ
At Maqam Ibrahim After completing Tawaf, pray two rakats behind Maqam Ibrahim. In the first rakat recite Surah al-Kafirun after al-Fatiha; in the second, Surah al-Ikhlas. โ
Drinking Zamzam Drink Zamzam standing, facing the Qiblah, in three breaths. Make any sincere du'a โ Zamzam is for whatever it is drunk for (Ibn Majah 3062). โ
Approaching Safa Recite as you approach Safa to begin Sa'ye. Then ascend Safa, face the Kaaba, raise your hands, and say the takbir three times. โ
On Safa and Marwa (Sa'ye) Recite on top of Safa and on top of Marwa each of the seven trips. Between recitations, make personal du'a freely. โ
